Crumple the paper and make it soft.
Make a small triangle and put it between the Tsukaito.
Hishigami made from hand made Japanese paper
will make the Tsuka (handle) elastic and will make it fit your hand nice.
Approximately 1 sheet is enough for 1 Tsuka (handle).
